I loved Sable Hunter's Hell Yeah series, it's been on my auto buy for quite a while. So I was excited to get my hand on a new series by her.

Kyler "Ky" is a sexy hunk of man that has a ranch, volunteers and make leather products- oh and he's worth a lot of money! Cooper is our heroine who has been in an abusive marriage that disintegrated her self image and worth. She is very much in hiding because her husband's family and connections are still out there lurking and she's afraid they will come after her. She ends up being Ky's next door neighbor and enjoys drooling over him as she drives by his house after running errands and such.

After she saves Ky the story line finally starts to evolve into a very sweet romance. Ky is very loving and accepting of her issues and tries to take is slowly with Cooper. But Cooper misunderstands slowly for rejection and Ky has to work harder to convince her that the truly wants her.

I feel that while boy Ky and Coopers characters were somewhat pattern card in major romances. And that losing her virginity scene could have been more realistic. You still get a good romantic read that twill make you sigh out loud.

While I thought her Hell Yeah series was better both character wise and plot wise- I still enjoyed this new book by Sable and will probably pick up #2 for a quick & easy romantic read.

Doesn't matter which book I read of Sable Hunter...She knows how to deliver. From the first chapter, I am hooked, if this is your first time reading anything from Sable, then rest assured, you will love her stories, as much as I do....grab the book and start reading. When done, make sure you look into the rest of them as well....
A very good love story.. I was not very hopeful starting this book but the truth is that the characters are lovable and I even cried with the story. I've read the book a couple times know and it is very good. So, make yourself a cup of tea and start reading it!
If you love Sable Hunter as much as I do than you will love this book. I love the Hell Yeah Series, and I love this one just as much. Cooper in my eyes is a heroine. She went through a lot. She saves Ky from a rattlesnake bite, and ends of getting bit herself. From that moment on Ky is there to help her through everything. If you want to know what happens next you will need to read.
The beginning of another steamy romantic mystery series by Sable Hunter is a winner. This book is about truly good hearts meeting at the right time; it's also about domestic violence, drug use, steroid rage, conspiracy, and people justifying criminal acts for their own benefit. Ky and Ty are twins; Ky is a rancher and so much more. Ty is a Texas Ranger. Cooper is a former victim of domestic violence whose husband died in a river; his body was never found. When Ky and Cooper meet, the fireworks begin. It is a little predictable, but a good plot, and good read, anyway.
This book was Excellent!!! It had everything you could want in a book..... Suspense, Sorrow, Excitement, Anger, Happiness, Laughter and so on. I could not put this book down! I loved it so much I had to purchase My Aliyah (Texas Heat Book 2) and find out what happens to Ky's twine brother Ty the Texas Ranger..... These brothers are so Hot you could almost feel their heat while reading these books. I'm talking about old fashioned Texas Cowboys who were raised to respect women, but the heated moments are off the charts!!! I may have found a new Author to add to my list. Happy Reading
I enjoy Hunter's books, esp. the HELL, YEAH series, but this one isn't quite as hot or as original. When the h keeps talking about how "fat" she is & then it's revealed she's a whopping 135 lbs, I was shaking my head. The heat is up there but as one other reviewer mentioned, Cooper's "aw shucks" routine begins to get annoying. She did have a hard life & marriage, but Ky fell for her the second they met & was almost too good to be true... I would have taken a snake bite for him!! I wouldn't recommend this as your first Hunter book, it might not hook you like the HELL, YEAH series... start w/the first book in that series.
This is the second book that I've read from Sable Hunter, and I must say, it did not disappoint! T-R-O-U-B-L-E was an amazing love at first sight story about an extremely abused girl, Cooper. She saves Ky from a snake bite, which he is extremely grateful for. Sable Hunter's writing is very descriptive and heart warming, culminating in heart wrenching! You just knew that her husband Richard would hurt her again! I'm glad Ky could get closure and justice by taking care of Richard. The only bad thing about this book is that I would have liked it to go on longer. Maybe through the pregnancy. I know, I know, read the next book, they say! I intend on reading the whole Hell Yeah series and the rest of the Texas Heat series as well!
